Sept. 30, 2004 - One attraction at the recent Washington County Fair in Brenham was the Texas Junior Anglers' "Catch Tank," a portable fishing pond that allows children, and adults, to experience the excitement of fishing.

Fish caught from the tank are released back into the water, but not before the angler can experience feeling the hardy tug on the line, the challenge of reeling in the fish, and then bringing it out of the water.

Texas Junior Anglers' catch tank is available for special events. "Have your crowd talking about 'the one that got away' or stretching the truth about the size of the they caught," their website (www.texasjunioranglers.org) prompted.
