April 28, 2005 - We know why the chicken crossed the road (to get to the other side), but why did the turtle cross the road? If you know, email carolynr@countryworldnews.com or give us a call at 877-825-7906. The most clever responses will be published in an upcoming edition. Please include at least your first name and town of residence. And, yes, this turtle made it across just fine. Sources say the average turtle walks three to four miles-per-hour. However, some land turtles can out-run a human on level ground. |
