April 28, 2005 - We know why the chicken crossed the road (to get to the other side), but why did the turtle cross the road?

And, yes, this turtle made it across just fine.

Sources say the average turtle walks three to four miles-per-hour. However, some land turtles can out-run a human on level ground.
