'Savvy Day' packs Pearce Pavillion

March 14, 2002 -- Pat Parelli and his wife Linda hosted a free "Savvy Day" in College Station on March 6 at the Pearce Pavilion. The Parelli's and their "Savvy Team" provided participants with insight into the Parelli system of developing horsemanship skills. One essential part of the Parelli system is the Four Savvys which include On Line, Liberty, FreeStyle, and Finesse.

The "Savvy Day" was also an opportunity for Central Texas horsemen and women to see what goes on at the Parelli International Study Center and find out what Parelli Natural Horse-Man-Ship is all about.

During the event participants could purchase each of the Parelli videos, equipment and Parelli memorabilia.

Cutting horse legend Leon Harrel was a special guest during the program and he and Pat treated the crowd to riding demonstrations. Harrel and Pat will be hosting a one week cow-working course in June and Harrel is integrating part of the Parelli program into his cutting horse classes in Kerrville.
