Very simple. T(axed)E(nough)A(lready). Considering what we're all paying in taxes right now, and then what B.O. has hit us with by giving our money away in Stimulus plus his plans for Cap and Tax (I mean Trade) and Nationalized (Socialist) Healthcare costs the taxes are killing any recovery to our economy. In fact, according to the CBO (Congressional Budget Office) his plans for nationalizing the healthcare system alone will bankrupt the country. But, nooo stopping B.O. in getting his agenda passed, the facts be damned.

TEA parties are the only grassroots method of making our voices heard, though evidently it's not working since you are asking this question. The next steps may be armed insurrection. Hope it doesn't come to that.

Not only did I attend, but I helped with the planning of the one in Mt. Pleasant. It was attended by approximately 600 people on July 4th, noon, on a very hot day. For a first effort, I consider it a huge success. Many people brought banners and placards displaying their dissatisfaction with what road this government has taken both fiscally and morallly.

We're just getting started. It's long past time for the people who pay the taxes (DON'T call us taxpayers like that's all we're here for) to demonstrate instead of just the people who don't pay taxes demonstrating for more freebies! The tough part is that we work; they don't.
